I recently stayed at Jugendherberge Nurnberg - Youth in Nuremberg for a few days. The hostel is conveniently located next to the castle and only a short walk away from the city center and Christmas markets. The building itself is a real castle and offers a unique and picturesque setting. The rooms were small but clean, and the view from some locations in the hostel was stunning. The on-site restaurant was stylish and served delicious food. The staff, especially Werner at the reception, were friendly and accommodating. I had a fantastic stay and would definitely recommend this hotel.

The lack of on-site parking is an inconvenience. You'll have to park about a 10-minute walk away and navigate cobblestone roads with your luggage.

The bed linens and towels provided were fresh and clean. Additionally, the location within the Old Town was perfect for exploring the city.

The noise level in the hotel was quite high, especially during the evening and early morning. It seemed that the school pupils staying at the hotel were not well supervised, leading to disturbances both inside and outside the property until late at night.

The value for money was worth it! The room was clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect, right next to the castle and Christmas market. The staff treated us incredibly well, providing a warm welcome and great service.
